Welcome to Indian Land Voice

Indian land is an unincorporated area in the panhandle of northern Lancaster County with a population of over 18,900. Indian Land is a rapidly growing unincorporated community. Indian Land Voice is promoting the creation of a municipality to be able to have a single, local voice in the building, planning and growth of our community.

Due to explosive growth in recent years, the members of Indian Land Voice along with many Indian Land residents are becoming increasingly concerned that unregulated development will change the face of Indian Land. Issues facing residents include:

  • B-3 Business Zoning, which allows for 1200 different kinds of business to come into our area. Currently there are an increasing number of gas stations and convenience stores springing up along the northern portion of Charlotte Highway, all of which are allowed without county approval under current B-3 zoning.
